This young lady is someone I have known personally since she was 19. I always found her interesting because she’s always been so smart and such a well-rounded individual, so I knew early on that she was going to be something special to our community, and that she is.

She is an alumna of Norfolk State University with a degree in journalism. This is certainly a field in which she excels. She’s always shown her interest in pageantry as well as entertaining on stage, but her focus for many years was furthering her education. She told me many times how interested she was in MMI and that whenever she decided to compete in a competition, MMI would be a goal for her.

This became a reality when she competed for the very first time in June of 2025. She had mentioned several times that she was going to compete, and then she finally entered her application. I was very happy to see she was finally going to present her talents on the MMI stage. She was among only one other contestant from Alabama, and here at MMI, we do not calculate numbers. Although we would love to have a great number of contestants, more profoundly, we want to have someone interested in being a part of the MMI pageantry system as a whole. We don’t want you here just for financial gain, but rather for the representation of one of the most prestigious crowns, which carries much responsibility. We offer a lot, but the expectations are just as required.

On that night, she became victorious, winning two of the four categories. She led the pageant by 11 points after talent, in which she did Whitney Houston, and the final category would be creative gown. Although she did not win that category, her lead from talent assured her a victory.

WHY THE MMI AMBASSADOR?

Well, we know the definition of an ambassador, and I believe this young lady embodied just that. Although originally it was not a name that she thought she had, as we afford an MMI name to define your reign, she quickly realized that she was meant to be an AMBASSADOR.

It wasn’t an easy start for her because she was new to pageantry, although not new to the world of advocacy, as she is executive director of SnapCo. (Solutions Not Punishment), based in the Georgia area. She quickly was embraced by the pageantry community, as other titleholders and supporters of pageantry were able to get to know her on a more personal level and embraced the fun-filled, very down-to-earth, beautiful young lady. She quickly gained a loving fan base from our LGBTQ pageantry community. She was embraced with so much love and made so many new friends from this community.

We personally thank the community for being so receptive and loving to her while treating her with so much kindness and respect. She also did something that was monumental during her step-down, as she chartered a bus from Georgia, allowing individuals to join us for her farewell by charging a $75 donation. This included transportation to and from, as well as the pageant, and also a luxurious hotel in downtown Norfolk, The Hilton on the Main, which afforded so many individuals the opportunity to join us on June 7, 2026. She also presented a beautiful memorabilia booklet, which can be read on our site as a flip page, and we hope you will read it because the attention to detail was just so amazing, and we are grateful to the Ambassador.

This is also something that she has offered to representatives as a farewell gift to them in the future, so they have their own personal memorabilia booklet. What a way to end a REIGN by yet finding a way to continually give back. We could say so many things about the lovely lady, and certainly, we wish her the best of luck in her next endeavors, whatever that may be, but she will always be a part of us, THE MMI MAFIA, and we look forward to maintaining a close relationship with her.

She also received the Stamp of Approval Award presented by Vega, which is something that not everyone receives, so congratulations on that accomplishment as well. This just shows how appreciative MMI was as a whole for your representation. We say bye for now because we will certainly see you soon, “TONI.” You are loved and adored.
