A proud native of Honolulu, Hawaii, she now resides in Arlington, Virginia, with her loving husband of many years and their little doggy. Christina was a newcomer to me, recommended as a contestant by our very own PRINCESS HOUSTON ESCADA. She reached out multiple times, eager to learn how to prepare for the competition, and three weeks before, she paid her entry fee. The next time I saw her, she arrived at the competition a bit tired from a three-hour drive and a night without sleep; yet, her determination shone through despite the last-minute challenges. When asked who would assist her, she quietly shared that her helper had pulled out, so she would manage on her own. Remarkably, she did just that, preparing her hair and makeup and dressing herself, relying only on someone to zip her up during the categories. Her spirit was unwavering—she came to win, and nothing could stand in her way. She excelled that evening, winning the presentation and creative gown, and became Miss Models Inc 2024/25. Why the MMI MOMENT? Watching this young lady create personal moments during the competition, with her bubbly spirit and kindness towards everyone backstage, made the name truly fitting. It was an honor to represent such grace and humility over the long ten years of this competition. Her ambitious travels across 16 states, 14 cities, and 19 national walks, along with 26 bookings, demonstrate her determination to represent and reign. I had the pleasure of learning about her culture, food, and traditions—an invaluable experience. She was the first to take the MMI crown back to her home and showcase her heritage, a true honor. Her personable nature earned her admiration during our travels, as captured in many memorable photos from her farewell performance. Thank you for your heartfelt conversations and commitment to getting it right. While no one is perfect, your dedication to excellence was evident.
